Music Lesson Services
Enrolment
Enrolment is subject to availability and our acceptance. We reserve the right to decline enrolment at our discretion. A separate service agreement will be provided upon enrolment, which governs the specific terms of your lessons.
Lesson Scheduling
Lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement between you and your assigned instructor. Regular attendance is expected. We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to allow rescheduling without charge.
Payment Terms
Payment for lessons or packages is due in advance unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfer and card payments. Late payments may result in suspension of lessons until the account is settled.
Cancellation Policy
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged in full, except in cases of illness with a medical note, where a credit will be applied. If we need to cancel a lesson, we will offer a rescheduled slot or credit at no additional cost.
Refunds
Unused lessons in prepaid packages may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if you withdraw, minus an administrative fee. Refund requests must be made in writing within 14 days of the withdrawal date.
Student Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Arrive on time for scheduled lessons
- Treat instructors and staff with respect
- Follow reasonable instructions during lessons
- Practice between lessons as agreed with the instructor
- Inform us of any relevant health conditions that may affect participation
We reserve the right to terminate lessons if conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or in breach of these terms.
Safeguarding
The welfare of young and vulnerable students is paramount. All instructors undergo enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training. We maintain policies and procedures to ensure a safe learning environment. Parents and guardians may observe lessons for younger children.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services
- Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months
- We do not guarantee specific outcomes from music tuition, as progress depends on individual effort, aptitude, and practice
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Confr Branc Music Education Ltd, its directors, employees, and instructors from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of our services.
